About 1050 pm Oct. 19th No. 97 eng 627 engr W. Johnson taking coal at Montgomery on main track chute failed to close properly allowing about 20 tons coal to run down on eng 627
Trains delayed No 4--25" No 97-3'55" No 95-25"
Understand that board which acts as stop to keep coal from going too high was broken allowing chain to get wrapped around pulley and a board just over chute was broken allowing coal to get over top of trap preventing it from closing....Eng 627 was freed at 2 am... The coal will be picked up and repairs to chute will be made today. D-29 RER 758am,,,,,20th
