Q: I am currently researching my family history and one of the facts I have uncovered is that my grandfather, Herold Mertz (spelling is correct), was the last steam engineer for the St. L. This is according to my father, but I cannot confirm any of this information. While I realize that you are not a genealogy source, but any information would be appreciated, if you know of any. wjmertz@mediaone.net
