M&StL EMD Builders plate as seen for sale on eBay
This plate came from a Minneapolis and St Louis GP9 #712. The serial number is 24767 Date Oct. 1958 Class 0-4-4-0. This locomotive became C&NW #712 in 1960 and was retired on 5/18/83. It was traded to EMD in 6/85 and scrapped in 7/85. These were the last new diesels purchased by the M&StL.
