Gowrie, IA depot. In city park on north side of town. Photo taken in 1997.
Bryon Weesner photo

Photo of Sherman Boyle (at desk) in the Gowrie, Iowa depot in the 1920's.
His father standing behind him and his sister sitting at the typewriter.
Sherman Boyle was the MSTL agent at Perry, Iowa when he died in 1949.
He was 56 years of age and had been at Perry for about 11 years.
He was also agent for the MSTL in Gowrie, Humboldt, Payton, and
Rippey prior to working at Perry.
Larry Welchel photo.

This building still stands on the north side of town in a park. This photo is marked CRIP but
wouldn't this be that line that was used by the RI and then reverted back to the MSTL?
